"My favorite revision comment of this year made by a student who was looking at the writer's model paper that scored a six for the "Getting Home From Nowhere" prompt, "Geez, they even describe how they walked up each step of the bus!" The model paper did not really do that; he was exaggerating, but he got the point for what his writing was lacking. He had not really paid much attention to my plea for more details but he saw it in that model paper and knew what he needed to raise his score."
